WISEWOOD - FSC-certification

In Finland, forest authorities automatically certify all forest owners by the PEFC system unless the owner specifically requests otherwise. Through Innofor you will be able to join the FSC forest certification system. FSC-certified wood is increasingly in demand, and is the certificate used and recommended by many leading conservation organisations as well as increasingly also by publishers. For example, the last Harry Potter book was printed exclusively on FSC paper.

FSC certification requires a personal decision to join from the forest owner, but you can accredit Innofor to deal with all the paperwork.

Wisewood timber comes from FSC-certified forests. If a wood product carries the FSC logo, it contains timber from responsibly managed forests certified to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) standards. www.fsc.org www.finland.fsc.org
